These tasks could be better performed by professional accountant-auditor-inspectors without a piece of the capital risk -- that makes them want to profit from your and my illnesses -- and certainly not take a loss on them. Why do you and government want such an illogical and unfair set-up is beyond my understanding. It is crooked on its face! Replace the insurance industry with in-house government or commercial contractor billing firms -- unconnected to financial risk for saving lives! Yet you and your friends never level with the voters on the above. You pretend that there is profit enough to go around OR that insurance companies are in private business to lose money. MORE IMPORTANTLY: You want to deliver health care for millions more patients. To make this possible, we need very high numbers of more doctors, nurses and para-medical workers. We need more clinics and hospitals. Why have we not trained the extra help we need? This nation needs jobs. Jobs need trained applicants. Can't you add 2 + 2 and come up with 4? AND JUST AS IMPORTANT: What about finding the money we need for all our current priorities -- based on mobilizing our under-employed and unemployed people so their work-product can support a lot more spending money -- without higher taxes, interest or debt? In short Joe and Barack -- why did you ask for the job of bringing necessary change? Do you have a clue about how we financed WW II by mobilizing labor, capital, and government to think in material ways about solutions that really work? PBS Frontline's "The Warning" made you all look stupid and venal at the same time. Look in the mirror and make some changes in your thinking at the top. You've got the future to answer for.
