Blogger is at a rally in favor of American foreign policy, including regime change in Iraq (in Fall 2003).

Karen Loberg (Ventura Star) took the picture. It made the front page. He was famous for a day.

MIND, BODY AND STUFF THAT WE OWN

When all is said and done, we like to exercise our mind (to think, write and communicate with others), and—with our body—we like to use it, and to do things—not just think about them.

And we like to own a lot of stuff that we may really need—or we may only want.

Three things, then, we want: to think aloud or in print; to move around or do a lot—to prove we're not a potted plant; and to own things (like a child does) because to want them—and not own them—hurts so much.

So whatis it to blog? Is it thinking? Or, is it doing? It's just thinking. Even reading one is only thinking. Doing means getting up and moving around—and even more than that!

It's awfully late. I'm off to sleep. And what is that? It's doing something—something useful—for a change.

Tomorrow I may think about the OUGHT  Wikipedia—how things ought  to be— not how they are.
