Blogger is at a rally in favor of American foreign policy, including regime change in Iraq ( Fall 2003 ).
Karen Loberg (Ventura Star) took the picture. It made the front page. He was famous for a day.
THE BLOG My comment below was to an article in YES by James Robertson calling for money reform similar to my own ideas. |
| James Robertson writes
in YES
e-magazine about monetary reform with which I
generally agree. Ron Morrison has offered similar information in Keynes Without Debt (Google for it). Singularity University sees a singularity coming wherein Artificial Intelligence will equal or surpass natural human intelligence. Another singularity is coming (soon I hope) wherein the feature of barter, that it promotes real exchange, will be equaled or surpassed by a money pricing system that promotes necessary production and consumption without leaving any person out of the universe it serves. This singularity is on its way because logistical data from all the supply chains serving humanity can and will be connected to do better the function that global price offers today. Coupled with Abba Lerner's Functional Finance, wherein purpose is a necessary part of economic mechanisms, such a money system will support the purpose of ending scarcity as production of necessities is pursued and their distribution can be fair without exception. Competition will "compete" with cooperation to arrive at a balance consistent with the Golden Rule. Sartre's "Hell is other people" now competes with the Golden Rule for humankind's affection. I believe Robertson, Morrison, Korten, Gelles and almost everybody votes for the Golden Rule, as we do our best to love all other people. |
