This is an open site for all who want to join in promoting economic democracy—before casino and crony capitalism, and failed notions of political economy, do us in.  Initial content is by John Gelles (reply links on every page will reach me.)  You are invited to link your own site, blog or space to this address—to form a network for economic democracy,defined to include

• a full employment budget, (including micro-loans for self-employment,)
• inflation protected savings accounts, (to prevent hyperinflation, and)
• an Advanced Economic Research and Intelligence Agency—modeled after DARPA and NSA. (to provide large information systems to protect us in an uncertain global economy. Logistical success will require courage, logic and imagination to preserve the arsenal of peace, prosperity and freedom from corruption and decay.)

Sustaining decent jobs and businesses for everyone to be able to make a living will require existing money—plus production of vital needs financed with money free of debt and future taxes on which necessary liquidity depends.

When production is the source of new money, fear of inflation will be met by inflation protected savings accounts (IPSA)—to reduce market demand for the time it takes supply to be produced and delivered to consumers.  Supply may be subsidized as necessary. Automation and robotics will be maximized to protect the purchasing power of money as it replaces debt, taxes and the reserve army of the unemployed.
